KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court today dismissed a RM12.5 million lawsuit filed by senior lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla against Bersatu and several of its top leaders over alleged non-payment of legal fees.
Judge Datuk Akhtar Tahir ruled that Haniff’s claim had no basis, finding that the services he rendered to Bersatu between 2016 and 2020 were voluntary and not subject to any agreement for payment.
