MARKET PULSE AM AUG 25, 2025 [WATCH]


KUALA LUMPUR: News on stock, crypto and ringgit moves.

Bursa Malaysia opened firmer today, climbing above the 1,600 mark to a six-month high.

This mirrored Wall Street’s rebound on Friday after US Fed chair Jerome Powell signalled a possible interest rate cut in September.

The FBM KLCI is expected to hover within the 1,600–1,620 range today.

The cryptocurrency market, however, extended its losses as Bitcoin fell to RM473,724.

Meanwhile, Ethereum and Solana slipped to RM19,790 and RM857 respectively.
