KUANTAN: The two Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel injured in an incident at Kuantan airbase today are being treated at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA).

They were transported by a Malaysian Armed Forces ambulance to the emergency and trauma department for further observation.

Several personnel were present at the hospital to monitor their condition.

The accident involved an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet at Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport runway at 9:05pm.

RMAF is taking immediate action and will provide updates on the incident.

The public has been urged not to share speculation or unverified reports. A video circulating on social media shows a fighter jet on the runway exploding.
