MITI probes plagiarism claims over Malaysian Pavilion concept for expo in Japan


KUALA LUMPUR: The Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) has launched an investigation into claims of plagiarism involving the design and concept of the Malaysian Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.

In a statement today, the ministry also said that it is in the process of ascertaining all facts concerning the allegation made by an individual on social media.

“We take this matter very seriously and reserve all our legal rights.”
