KUALA LUMPUR: A Facebook comment highlighting the bravery of a 13-year-old who reported a bullying incident directly to the Education Ministry (MoE) has gone viral on social media.
The X post, shared by user @xatyrosdi, read: “My child was bullied by a classmate and initially complained to the disciplinary teacher, who ignored the claim. My child didn’t even tell me about it.
“Instead, my child went online, found the ministry’s bullying portal, and lodged a detailed complaint, including the bully’s name. One day, police arrived at the school, but the teachers were unaware of what had happened. The authorities explained that a bullying complaint had been filed involving the school.”
The parent added that their teenager was quiet and has few friends.
Although the screenshot removed the commenter’s name, netizens praised the child’s proactive approach in submitting a report via the MoE’s aduanbuli.moe.gov.my portal.
Kid just said “f* bureaucracy Imma handle this myself”

“When I was that age, I kept quiet even though I was bullied. Perhaps because I grew bigger, the bully stopped. Alhamdulillah,” he said.
