Go To-U has turned on its new DC charger at Iskandar Puteri, and this appears to be their first EV charging location in the state of Johor. Deployed within Educity Hub, the location is an ideal place for a quick EV top up as there are several F&B options available including McDonald’s and a Kedai Mamak.
For the EV charging location at Educity Hub in Iskandar Puteri, Go To-U has installed a 120kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles.
Similar to its current EV charging hubs in Kuala Terengganu and Rekascape, Cyberjaya, the chargers are priced at RM1.40 per kWh.

You can book and activate the charger via the Go To-U app, which requires you to top up the wallet. Alternatively, Go To-U has also deployed card terminals where you can tap and charge.
According to the instructions, the card terminal for Go To-U requires users to enter and remember a 4-digit pin before tapping any payment card. This 4-digit pin will be used if you wish to stop the DC charging session early.

Besides this new Educity Hub location, there’s a high density of DC fast chargers around the Iskandar Puteri Area. About 1.5km away, there’s a ChargEV 400kW DC Charger with 6x CCS2 nozzles at Eco Galleria, Taman Eko Botani. These chargers are priced at RM1.60 per kWh.
Meanwhile, about 3km away, DC Handal has deployed its massive EV charging hub next to the Mall of Medini, which is near Legoland. This location has a total of 28 DC charging bays which consists of clusters of 300kW power capacity distributed among 4-6 nozzles. In total, the location has a total charging capacity of 1.2MW, and the chargers are priced at RM1.30 per kWh.
