NEW YORK, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) — Oil prices fell on Friday.
The West Texas Intermediate for September delivery lost 1.93 U.S. dollars, or 2.79 percent, to settle at 67.33 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery dropped 2.03 dollars, or 2.83 percent, to settle at 69.67 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
