SINGAPORE:

A group of Malaysians stranded in the Middle East were among those on board a repatriation flight from Doha organised by the Singapore foreign ministry.

The ministry said a total of 152 Singaporeans and their dependents touched down safely at Changi Airport yesterday, along with citizens from Malaysia and .

“This reflects the spirit of solidarity during such times of crisis, just like how other countries helped Singaporeans return home in the past,” it said in a Facebook posting.

A second repatriation flight from Muscat is scheduled for Sunday, with a repatriation flight from Saudi Arabia being organised in the coming days.
