SINGAPORE:
A group of Malaysians stranded in the Middle East were among those on board a repatriation flight from Doha organised by the Singapore foreign ministry.
The ministry said a total of 152 Singaporeans and their dependents touched down safely at Changi Airport yesterday, along with citizens from Malaysia and South Korea.
“This reflects the spirit of solidarity during such times of crisis, just like how other countries helped Singaporeans return home in the past,” it said in a Facebook posting.
A second repatriation flight from Muscat is scheduled for Sunday, with a repatriation flight from Saudi Arabia being organised in the coming days.
