KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has issued four compound notices and seized chairs and tables that were placed without permission on walkways and pedestrian paths by restaurants around Jalan Telawi, Bangsar.
DBKL said that during a Special Business Premises Enforcement Operation in the area, several restaurants were found obstructing public spaces by placing business equipment, such as chairs and tables, along walkways and pedestrian paths.
“As a result of the operation, four compound notices were issued, and enforcement actions, including the seizure and removal of the obstructions, were taken against four business premises found guilty of placing chairs and tables on walkways and pedestrian paths without permission,” it said in a statement.
It added that City Hall would continue enforcement and monitoring efforts from time to time.
