KUALA LUMPUR: A driver lost control and crashed into a neighbour’s fence, security camera footage showed, sparking concern and warnings about the danger to children.

No one was injured in the incident.

The recording shared by the Facebook page DashCam Malaysia showed a white Perodua Viva reversing from a house.

The driver is believed to have pressed the accelerator too hard, causing the car to hit a nearby fence.

The impact caused the fence to collapse, with debris falling into the neighbouring property.

The driver was later seen slowly returning to his home.

The video prompted concern on social media, with many questioning the driver’s recklessness.

Facebook user Syed Mirul warned of the danger to children.

Another user, Abdul Rahman Man, noted the risks of automatic vehicles, saying drivers may accidentally press the accelerator instead of the brake.

The incident highlights the need for caution when driving in residential areas.
