KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Indian People’s Party (MIPP) has denied any internal discord within Perikatan Nasional (PN), saying the coalition remains stable and united as it prepares for the next general election.
Its president Punithan Paramsiven said that despite the absence of Pas leaders, the spirit of brotherhood remains strong and discussions with Pas will take place soon.
“We are all good with Pas. We are still in discussion and will meet with Pas soon.
“PN is stable. We are strong and the government in waiting. We will take over in the next general election.
“There are no issues within PN. Today’s pre-council meeting was to ensure that PN has a clear direction,” he told reporters after a pre-council meeting at Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s residence here today.
