Breakdowns of the funding requirements by technical components include periodic road surface maintenance, with RM225.91 million needed for 177 road surface repair works.

These involve surface treatments, pavement structure rehabilitation and replacement of damaged layers to restore the integrity of road structures and the overall road network.
