KUALA LUMPUR: 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd has opened its 3,000th outlet in Bestari Jaya, , as the mini market chain continues to expand its nationwide network.

In a statement, the company said the new 99 Speedmart store reflects its aim of placing outlets closer to local communities under its “Near ‘n Save” concept.

“This expansion further strengthens our dedication to offering competitive prices, quality products, and greater convenience through store locations that are closer to local communities,” it said.

99 Speed Mart said it remains focused on maintaining a stable supply of essential goods, preventing stock shortages and offering items at affordable prices to ensure every segment of society has easier access to daily necessities.

The company said its broader objective is to ensure Malaysians are not burdened when securing essential household items.

The new outlet also supports its efforts to create more local job opportunities, with all stores employing Malaysians.

The retailer said it continues to run training and education programmes to develop its workforce, including collaborations with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and the Academy in Industry.
