KUALA LUMPUR: The first one-stop centre for the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme at The Exchange 106, TRX, operated entirely by the private sector, was launched yesterday, reflecting continued confidence in the country’s economic outlook and global competitiveness.
STF Revenue (MM2H) Sdn Bhd, the centre’s operating company, said in a statement today that the launch ceremony was officiated by Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry secretary-general Datuk Shaharuddin Abu Sohot.
He said efforts to draw quality foreigners to settle in Malaysia not only strengthened the tourism sector but also brought extensive economic spillovers.
“The MM2H programme, under the supervision of the ministry, continues to play a vital role in attracting expatriates and foreign investors seeking to build a life and opportunities in Malaysia,” he said in the statement.
As of July 2025, the ministry recorded more than 3,300 new applications for the MM2H programme, involving an estimated RM300 million in foreign funds and property investments exceeding RM430 million, reflecting international confidence and reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a preferred destination for living and investment.
Meanwhile, STF Revenue director of International Operations Jonathan Low Choon Wai said the one-stop centre at TRX was established to streamline the process and provide a comfortable and efficient experience for MM2H programme participants.
“We want to make living in Malaysia easy, comfortable and appealing for international investors, retirees and professionals.
“Our presence here reflects our confidence in the country as a regional lifestyle and investment hub,” he said in the statement.
The launch ceremony also saw the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between STF Revenue and Rivertree Group, represented by Datuk Wira Joey Yan and Datuk Simon David Leong, respectively.
The statement said the partnership was established to attract international investors to local properties, providing visa assistance and long-term placement support.
“We want to ensure that when someone chooses Malaysia, they are not just buying a house or obtaining a visa, but building a life here,” said Leong.
To further strengthen the tourism and investment ecosystem, STF has also partnered with Batik Air, which is offering free round-trip flight tickets worth up to RM5,000 to eligible MM2H applicants under the Batik x STF programme.
The statement also said that STF has partnered with local banks to assist new MM2H applicants in opening fixed deposit accounts and provide financial advisory support.
A subsidiary of STF Group, STF Revenue (MM2H) was established in 2016 and currently oversees a range of operations, including workforce management, employee dormitory management, cleaning services and technology-based management systems.
The group has also expanded its portfolio in the long-term tourism sector through official licences for the MM2H and Premium Visa Programme (PVIP), in addition to providing maid management services.
