Fuziah: All 10 PKR candidates for Sabah state election commit with RM10m loyalty bonds

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 10 — All 10 candidates chosen to contest in the Sabah 17th state election have signed loyalty pledges, secretary-general Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh.

She said that the pledges are backed by RM10 million bonds, should the candidates, who are from various backgrounds, including deputy ministers, civil servants and professionals, betray the party.

“May the candidates have 100 per cent commitment to the party, voters and constituencies they represent to fulfill the duties entrusted to them till they succeed in forming a new state government,” she said in a statement here last night.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ibrahim, in his capacity of Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman and president, had earlier introduced the 10 candidates in an event here last night.

also informed that PH would contest 23 out of 73 state seats in the Sabah election under the PH logo. — Bernama
