PETALING JAYA:
Barisan Nasional will contest 41 of the 73 seats in the coming Sabah state election, amid cooperation with Pakatan Harapan and clashes with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah and Warisan.
The announcement was made by Sabah BN chairman Bung Moktar Radin in Kota Kinabalu this afternoon.
As expected, Bung will defend Lamag, which he has represented since 2020. Sabah Umno treasurer Salleh Said Keruak will defend Usukan.
On Sept 20, Bung described the 17th state election as the “final battle” to ensure BN regains control of the Sabah government.
