KOTA KINABALU: Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Datuk Ewon Benedick has announced his decision to resign from the Federal Cabinet, citing his commitment to uphold Sabah’s rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
He said he will formally submit his resignation letter to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“Therefore, I will be sending a letter to formally inform him of my resignation from the Federal Cabinet.
“I wish to express my gratitude to the Prime Minister for the opportunity to serve in the Federal Cabinet, which has allowed me to advocate for Sabah’s rights and principles.”
