GWM Malaysia unveils refreshed Ora Good Cat line-up

GWM Malaysia has unveiled the refreshed Ora Good Cat Ultra and Ora Good Cat GT, introducing a bold new design and enhanced features to one of the country’s most recognisable electric hatchbacks.

“The Ora nameplate represents the heart of GWM’s new energy vision – fun, intelligent and accessible for everyone,” said GWM Malaysia managing director Cui Anqi.

“It is exciting to see more Malaysians embracing electric mobility, and we want ORA to be part of their everyday lives.”

With over 520,000 users worldwide, the Ora Good Cat has become a symbol of practical yet joyful electric driving.

The updated range features a new So Blue with Black Roof colour option, adding a youthful and urban touch to the brand’s retro-futuristic design language.

GWM describes the refreshed Good Cat as the “Extra Good EV” – extra good looking, extra good driving, and extra good safety – reflecting its stylish design, responsive all-electric performance and advanced driver assistance systems.

“The Malaysian EV market is expanding quickly and our goal is to deliver true value that stands strong against any competitor,” said GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah.

“The Ora Good Cat shows that technology, design and quality can be both attainable and trusted.”

The 2025 Ora Good Cat range also introduces a refreshed colour palette featuring Hazel Wood Beige with Brown Roof, Pistachio Green, Aqua Grey (GT exclusive), and Sun Black (GT exclusive).

Two Variants, Distinct Characters

The Ora Good Cat Ultra, priced from RM109,800, combines elegant styling with intuitive technology.

It comes with a 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery offering up to 480 km (NEDC) range, 143 PS output, and 60 kW DC fast chargingcapability.

Interior highlights include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, leatherette upholstery, and Level 2 ADAS with a 360° camera.

Connectivity supports the My GWM app, CarPlay, and Android Auto.

For a sportier experience, the Ora Good Cat GT – from RM119,800 – adds an exclusive GT bodykit, gloss black accents, 18-inch sporty alloys with yellow trim, GT badging and yellow brake calipers.

It produces 171 PS and 250 Nm of torque, with up to 460 km (NEDC) range from the same 57.7 kWh battery.

Both variants come with a five-year 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year 180,000 km battery warranty.
