
Police have arrested another suspect in their investigation into the murder of a saleswoman who was found dead, naked and with her hands bound in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
Serdang police chief Farid Ahmad said the fifth suspect, a Malaysian, had been remanded until Nov 10 to assist in the probe, Berita Harian reported.
He said the initial five-day remand orders for three other male suspects were extended for another three days until tomorrow.
“The fourth suspect, a woman, who was also remanded for five days, has been remanded for three more days until Saturday,” he was quoted as saying.
The victim, 24, was found dead near the Blue Water Estate roundabout in Seri Kembangan on Oct 30.
Police arrested three people the following day, including the victim’s ex-boyfriend and her stepbrother, and then the woman’s housemate.
