Audio brand Harman Kardon has announced the Aura Studio 5 for the Malaysian market. As the name suggests, it’s the fifth entry into the brand’s 360-degree speaker series. It also has what the company calls a “new multi-layering lighting projection and acoustic design”.
What that means is that the the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 has a “reimagined” three-way speaker design. Components of the speaker setup include a 143mm subwoofer, six 40mm drivers and a 25mm tweeter, that last one noted to be new to this iteration. Then there’s the brand’s own Constant Sound Field tech for improved clarity and wider soundstage.
On the lighting component, the Aura Studio 5 comes with “five nature-inspired themes”, which are Ocean, Aurora, Blossom, Sunrise and Fireplace. As you’d expect, you get full control of these modes via the Harman Kardon ONE app.
The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 launches with a RM1,599 price tag, but it won’t be available immediately. Instead, they go on sale starting 11 November, and you can do so via Shopee, Lazada or via the distributor Swap Asia. Pre-orders start tomorrow, with those who place theirs also being entitled to exclusive gifts. Worth noting though that the Bluetooth-only model launches first, with a WiFi-capable model coming in Q1 2026. No price for this one as of yet.
