CYBERJAYA, Nov 6 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today appeared to be in good spirits, even demonstrating his improvement after back pain forced him to cancel official duties on Sunday.
At the launch of the Malaysia Semiconductor IC Design Park 2 here, Anwar smiled when reporters asked about his health.
“I’m in good health, I’m good,” he said, before giving a playful hop to demonstrate his recovery as he made his way to his car.
The gesture came after the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Sunday that Anwar‘s planned working visit to Pahang had been cancelled due to health reasons.
The PMO said Anwar’s doctor had advised him to get adequate rest following a period of back pain, believed to have been caused by his hectic schedule of international meetings and travel in recent weeks.
