KUALA LUMPUR: Empowering talent in artificial intelligence and robotics will be a key parliamentary focus today.
According to the Order Paper, Datuk Larry Soon (PBM-Julau) will question the Science, Technology and Innovation Minister about developing these emerging technology talents.
He seeks recognition for AI and robotics professionals comparable to established fields like engineering and medicine.
Meanwhile, Datuk Dr Suhaili Abdul Rahman (Labuan) will ask the Prime Minister about strategies to elevate the Borneo Arts Festival.

The festival falls under the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area tourism cluster.

He will specifically address National Month celebrations and the Kibar Jalur Gemilang initiative.
His query focuses on how these campaigns foster patriotism across all races and religions.
Following Question Time, the Dewan Rakyat will proceed with committee-stage budget debates.
Members will discuss the 2026 Supply Bill in detail during this session.
