The highly anticipated Genting Xintiandi development — a collaboration between Aset Kayamas Group and Genting Malaysia Bhd — has achieved an impressive 85% take-up rate for its first phase, the Xintiandi Village, reflecting strong market response since its debut.

The strong sales performance reflects robust market confidence in the project’s integrated concept and its strategic position as the new lifestyle and commercial gateway in Gohtong Jaya.

Phase 1: Xintiandi Village — Shops and bus depot

Phase 1 of Genting Xintiandi, known as Xintiandi Village, comprises 268 stratified shoplots and a dedicated bus depot with direct access from the main road, serving as the township’s central commercial and transportation hub.

The shoplots, with sizes ranging from 22′ x 63′ up to 24′ x 74′, are priced from RM2.9mil onwards, with a proposed maintenance fee of RM0.75 per-sq-ft plus 10% sinking fund. Completion is targeted within 48 months from the Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) date.

Architecturally, Xintiandi Village showcases a refined blend of Chinese Modern and Baba Nyonya influences, merging cultural inspiration with modern commercial design. Wide frontages, flexible layouts and pedestrian-friendly access make it ideal for retail, dining and lifestyle concepts catering to both locals and tourists.

“The outstanding response to Xintiandi Village demonstrates the market’s confidence in Genting Xintiandi as the new commercial heart of Gohtong Jaya,” said Aset Kayamas executive director Michael Chai Woon Huai.

“Our vision is to create a thriving, self-sustaining township that combines business vibrancy with lifestyle convenience.”

Strong market response and investor confidence

Following its private preview, Aset Kayamas hosted a two-day event at the Genting Xintiandi Sales Gallery, attracting a strong turnout of investors and buyers, with many expressing interest and securing their preferred units. The encouraging response reflects growing confidence in Genting Xintiandi’s long-term potential.

Beyond its commercial success, the Red Earth Serviced Apartment component — another key offering under the Genting Xintiandi masterplan — also achieved a 95% sales rate, highlighting the market’s strong appetite for both lifestyle and investment properties within this integrated development.

One of the future highlights of Genting Xintiandi will be the Arena, a state-of-the-art indoor venue which could accommodate up to approximately 18,000 people.

“The multi-purpose arena is designed to host concerts, eSports tournaments, conventions, and indoor sports tournaments. It will be the entertainment nucleus of Genting Xintiandi — an attraction that will bring new energy, tourism, and economic activity to Gohtong Jaya,” added Chai.

The Gross Development Value (GDV) for the shoplot component stands at RM633mil, while the Arena is valued at 1bil. The overall township carries a projected GDV exceeding RM10 bil, spanning seven development phases.

Situated on eight hectares of freehold land, Genting Xintiandi enjoys close proximity to major highland landmarks such as Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, Awana Skyway, Resort World Awana and the Strawberry Leisure Farm.

The project’s direct main road access and pedestrian connectivity make it a natural convergence point for local communities, tourists and business visitors.

Genting Xintiandi is a landmark mixed-use township jointly developed by Aset Kayamas Group and Genting Malaysia Bhd, located at Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands.

Spanning 24.3ha of land, the masterplan features commercial shoplots, serviced apartments, retail centres, a bus depot and the upcoming Arena — designed to redefine highland living with a seamless blend of commerce, leisure, and lifestyle experiences.
