“The representation, which requests a review of the charge and for the A-GC to consider a lesser offence, was sent on Oct 24.

“The High Court today set Jan 13 next year to hear the decision of the representation,” she said after mention proceedings held before High Court deputy registrar Nadia Othman.

Alif, who is currently detained at the Sungai Buloh Prison, was brought into the courtroom at 9.20am and appeared calm throughout the proceedings.

He was first charged with the murder of Nur Farah at the Kuala Kubu Bharu’s magistrate’s court on July 26 last year.

He allegedly committed the offence between 9am on July 10 and 6pm on July 15 at Ladang SKC Keledang in the Hulu Bernamn in Hulu .
