Perikatan Nasional chairman Yassin says the coalition is now stronger and ready to return to power in at the next general election.

, who is also Bersatu president, said PN now represents people of all ethnicities, with more people showing interest in joining the coalition’s member parties.

“PN is now fully represented, and more people are joining us every day. This shows growing public support and gives us the confidence to face the 16th general election and help PN return to ,” he said.

He made his remarks this evening at the Deepavali open house of the Malaysian Indian People’s Party, a PN partner with Bersatu, and Gerakan.

Among those present at the open house were PN secretary-general Azmin Ali, Bersatu vice-presidents Radzi Jidin and Ahmad Faizal Azumu, MIPP president P Punithan, Gerakan president Dominic Lau, Kapar MP Halimah Ali of and Pejuang president Mukhriz Mahathir.

PN formed the federal government in 2020 with Barisan Nasional and parties from Sarawak and Sabah. However, the Muhyiddin-led government lasted only 18 months, ending after several MPs withdrew their support.
