KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 (Bernama) — A moderate 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck the Banda Sea, Indonesia, at 11.09 am today.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said in a statement that the earthquake, with a depth of 172 kilometres, occurred 453 km south of Ambon, Indonesia.
However, it said there is no tsunami threat to Malaysia.
