PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of Housing and Local Government has reiterated its commitment to always respect media freedom and appreciate the important role of media practitioners in delivering accurate information.
KPKT expressed appreciation for the contribution of local and international media through their coverage and respects journalists’ freedom to ask questions during press conferences.
The ministry clarified that the party answering questions should also have space to respond to each question posed.
Prudent reprimands to ensure factual accuracy and mutual understanding represent methods of togetherness to achieve government programme objectives.
The press conference launched the Lighting Innovation Project Towards Urban Sustainability for Visit Malaysia 2026 to strengthen tourism promotion efforts.
