KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 — Train services on the MRT line resumed today after a person was apprehended for trespassing on the tracks, Rapid KL said.

Alternative train services and shuttle buses that were introduced during the disruption have been discontinued.

“Train frequency is currently being adjusted, and the service schedule will return to normal shortly. We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” Rapid KL added in a statement.

According to Free Malaysia Today, the intrusion occurred at around 8.41am during the morning rush hour, prompting Rapid KL to deploy a team to locate the individual.

The intruder was caught less than 20 minutes later, at 8.57am.

Last week, the MRT line faced a separate disruption that required trains to be operated manually.

Prasarana Malaysia Bhd suspected the incident was linked to the theft of communication and signalling cables.
