Jun Hao crashes out in Hylo Open first round

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s men’s singles shuttler Leong Jun Hao was eliminated by India’s S. Sankar Muthusamy Subramanian in the Hylo Open first round in Saarbrucken, Germany, today.

World No. 22 Jun Hao went down 21-14, 18-21, 21-16 by world No. 65 Sankar.

The result extended Sankar’s head-to-head record against Jun Hao to 2-0 after the Malaysian lost to the Indian at last year’s Thailand Masters.
