PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will initiate an investigation into the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Aerotrain project, which has been plagued by repeated service disruptions, if there are indications of corruption or abuse of power.
MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said that, for now, no investigation papers have been opened on the project, which is worth hundreds of millions of ringgit.
“As of now, we have not received any complaints or information regarding the matter,” he told reporters after closing the 21st Asean Parties Against Corruption (Asean-PAC) Principals Meeting here today.
