PETALING JAYA: Train services on the LRT Kelana Jaya Line have been delayed due to a power supply disruption at Gombak Station, says Rapid KL.

In a Facebook statement, the operator said trains travelling from Putra Heights are turning back at Wangsa Maju Station. At the same time, shuttle buses have been deployed to ferry passengers between Wangsa Maju and Gombak stations.

“Passengers who wish to continue their journey to Gombak are advised to tap out their card or token at Wangsa Maju Station before boarding the shuttle bus to Taman Melati or Gombak Station,” Rapid KL said on Tuesday (Oct 28).

Ticketing systems at several stations are temporarily unavailable, including Gombak, Taman Melati, Wangsa Maju, Sri Rampai, Setia Wangsa, Jelatek, Datuk Keramat and Damai.

Passengers are advised to make fare payments at their destination stations, Rapid KL added.

“As a safety measure, trains will stop slightly longer at all platforms.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Rapid KL said free shuttle bus services are also being provided along the MRT Line to help passengers continue their journeys to their respective destinations.

The shuttle services cover 10 zones from Kwasa Damansara to Sentral, with buses already deployed across multiple MRT stations, including Sungai Buloh, Damansara Damai, Kepong Baru, Titiwangsa, Tun Razak Exchange, and Cyberjaya City Centre.
