KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 — Commuters on the LRT Kelana Jaya Line are experiencing service disruptions following a power supply issue at Gombak Station, according to a statement released by Rapid KL through their social media.
Train services between Putra Heights and Wangsa Maju are operating, but all trains from Putra Heights will turn back at Wangsa Maju station until further notice.
Passengers heading towards Gombak are required to use shuttle bus services provided between Wangsa Maju and Gombak Stations to continue their journey.
Rapid KL advised passengers traveling to Gombak to tap out their card or token at Wangsa Maju Station before boarding the shuttle bus, which will make stops at Taman Melati and Gombak Stations.
In addition, the ticketing systems at several stations are temporarily unavailable which include:
- Gombak
- Taman Melati
- Wangsa Maju
- Sri Rampai
- Setia Wangsa
- Jelatek
- Datuk Keramat
- Damai
Commuters are advised to make their fare payments at their destination stations instead.
As a safety precaution, trains will also make slightly longer stops at all platforms during this period to manage passenger flow and ensure safety.
