KUALA LUMPUR: Discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) during a bilateral meeting today focused on rebalancing global trade and strengthening the framework of international financial security.

Also present at the bilateral meeting were Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, and Bank Negara Malaysia governor Datuk Seri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour.

Today’s meeting was held on the sidelines of the 47th Asean Summit and Related Summits, hosted by Malaysia from Oct 26 to 28 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
