KUALA LUMPUR: National squash player Ng Eain Yow moved up one spot to No. 11 in the latest men’s world rankings released on Monday.
His previous best ranking was No. 10, which he achieved on April 21.
Eain Yow, who reached the semi-finals of the Squash Open Classic in New York earlier this month, will next play at the China Open next month, followed by the SRFI Indian Open and the Hong Kong Football Club Open.
In the women’s PSA Tour rankings, S. Sivasangari maintained at world No. 6 despite losing in the second round of the US Open in Philadelphia last week.
Compatriot Rachel Arnold also maintained her No. 19 ranking, while Aira Azman dropped one spot to No. 23.
However, Aifa Azman moved up two spots to No. 32.
Zoe Foo, who quit her full-time job in June to focus on squash, made a significant 19-spot jump to No. 148 in the world rankings.
