KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 — The MRT Putrajaya Line continues to experience problems due to a signalling issue.
In a press statement issued last night on social media, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said that the Putrajaya Line train service would continue to operate in manual mode today, October 27, 2025, following ongoing repair works on the signalling system, which is still actively being carried out.
This measure has been taken to ensure that train operations can continue safely while system repairs are underway, following a cable theft incident near Kuchai Station on October 25, 2025.
During this period, trains will be manually operated from Kwasa Damansara Station to Putrajaya Sentral Station, resulting in slower train movements and longer stops at each station.
Train frequency is expected to be every 15 to 20 minutes.
To assist affected passengers, a free shuttle feeder bus service has been provided from Kwasa Damansara Station to Putrajaya Sentral Station throughout the disruption period.
Bus frequency is expected to be every 15 to 20 minutes, depending on current traffic conditions.
Putrajaya Line passengers are advised to use alternative routes to continue their journeys to their intended destinations.
