KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 (Bernama) — The international media covering the 47th ASEAN Summit is eagerly waiting for the signing ceremony between Thailand and Cambodia as United States President Donald Trump arrived in the capital.
Accredited media have been asked to wait at one of the meeting rooms at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the venue of the ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, to cover the signing.
The “Delivering Peace: Cambodia-Thailand Peace Deal” is to be signed by Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his Cambodian counterpart, Hun Manet, on the sidelines of the Summits.
Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in his capacity as ASEAN Chair, and Trump are expected to witness the signing.
