BUKIT MERTAJAM:

Police have arrested three foreign men to assist in investigations into the double murder of a 51-year-old woman and her daughter, 11, at a house in Kampung Sekolah Juru here last Saturday.

Penang police chief Azizee Ismail told Bernama that two of the suspects were arrested in Kulim, Kedah, while the other was nabbed in .

“The trio, who are in their 30s to 40s, know each other,” he said, adding that a remand order would be sought at the Bukit Mertajam magistrates’ court tomorrow.

He said the victim’s husband, 57, will also be taken to court and freed on police bail upon the end of his remand period tomorrow.
