KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 — Jalan Tun Sardon in Balik Pulau, Penang, was temporarily closed today following a landslide and fallen trees.
A dashcam recording showed the landslide occurred at approximately 4.45pm, with debris sliding across the road.
The incident was highlighted in a Facebook reel posted by a Facebook user on the Balik Pulau Security Intelligence Centre page, where another user also reported the closure of Jalan Tun Sardon due to fallen trees.
“Latest Tun Sardon Road Bukit Baru Balik Pulau is closed due to landslide and fallen trees,” the post stated.
Authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the duration of the closure or cleanup efforts.
