Police have urged groups that want to rally against US President Donald Trump to avoid holding protests near the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), where the 47th Asean Summit will be held next week.
Citing public safety issues and the country’s image, Inspector-General of Police Khalid Ismail reportedly offered the protesters alternative venues in the city centre, such as Padang Merbok.
