SHAH ALAM:

Police believe that the 14-year-old boy who allegedly stabbed a senior at a school in Bandar Utama yesterday intended to kill the victim.

“Based on the stab wounds, we believe there were indeed intentions (to kill),” police chief Shazeli Kahar told reporters after a press conference today.

Shazeli said investigations also revealed that the suspect had feelings for the 16-year-old victim but never expressed them.

“So far, we believe that was the situation. The suspect had feelings towards the victim, but these were not shared with her. The victim was believed to be unaware.”

He added that the two did not personally know each other as they were in different classes and of different ages.
