PETALING JAYA: The boy who stabbed a girl to death at a Bandar Utama school is believed to have confessed his feelings to the victim and was rejected, reports Chinese media.

According to Press, a friend of the victim said the boy confessed to the victim the night before the incident.

The friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said the victim was friendly and kind, and participated actively in many sports such as basketball, and was considered to be athletically gifted.

The incident on Tuesday (Oct 14), believed to have taken place at around 9.30am, after the boy reportedly brought a sharp weapon, believed to be a knife, to school.
