In a statement issued soon after the official dissolution of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly on Monday, Bung Moktar said the party’s election machinery across the state is already operating at full readiness.

“We are not waiting for tomorrow. Our preparations have long been underway. I call on every divisional, wing, and district operations leader to ensure our party machinery is mobilised 100 per cent to secure victory for candidates throughout Sabah,” the former Lamag assemblyman said.

He pointed out that and are not new to this struggle and it has extensive experience in governing, developing, and serving the people of Sabah.

“This experience is our greatest asset, it allows every team, candidate, and leader to perform their duties in an organized and effective manner. As we approach this state election, -BN will craft strategies and approaches that align with the current aspirations of the people.

“Modern politics demands wisdom and attentiveness to the people’s voice. We do not come with empty words, but with concrete plans and actions for as the old saying goes, “kerbau dipegang pada talinya, manusia dipegang pada janjinya,” he stressed.

Bung Moktar said Umno and BN Sabah will not turn a blind eye to the failure of the GRS government to develop the state, an issue which will be a key focus of BN’s campaign.

The people, he opined, have witnessed firsthand the failures of GRS leadership in managing the economy, investment, and state development, adding that many areas remain underdeveloped, job opportunities are scarce, and the state’s development policies are inconsistent.

Umno-BN, Bung Moktar said, is confident that the people of Sabah will make a wise choice to support a party and candidates who can bring genuine and positive change for the people and the state.

“We are not here with empty promises, but with proven capability and experience. We are ready to bring meaningful change to the people of Sabah. We believe the people deserve a better quality of life than what they have today one that ensures opportunities, progress, and strong political stability.

“Now is the time to correct the course of Sabah’s direction. As the saying goes, “familiarity breeds strength,” and the experience of Umno-BN remains the foundation for restoring Sabah to a path of development, stability, and prosperity for its people,” he said.

Meanwhile, Parti Warisan Information Chief Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman said that the dissolution of the Sabah State Assembly marks the beginning of another chapter for the people to decide their future.

“The state government has now completed its term, and it’s time for the people to judge their record. For us in Warisan, we have always believed that power belongs to the rakyat, not politicians.

“We will face this election with humility, confidence, and the belief that Sabahans are ready for genuine change, not just promises. Insyallah God Willing, the wind of change will happen in Sabah,” he said in a statement today. — The Borneo Post
