PETALING JAYA: During a video call with Malaysian activists in Istanbul on Sunday (Oct 5), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that a gathering would be organised when they return.
“They are all in good health and their spirits are still high. I express my appreciation for their courage, perseverance and sacrifice in fighting for the fate of the people of Gaza who continue to be oppressed.
“They are a symbol of Malaysian courage in upholding human values without knowing borders. I look forward to their arrival in Kuala Lumpur soon,” wrote Anwar in a Facebook post.
These were the activists who were released after being kidnapped by the Zionist regime while they were aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla on Oct 2.
