XPeng G6 Facelift (FL) is now officially available in Malaysia. The new model features several changes over the original G6, which was launched in our market in August 2024.
2026 XPeng G6 FL Malaysia Pricing, Colourways, Warranty
For Malaysia, the 2026 XPeng G6 FL is available in three variants. Here’s the starting price:
- XPeng G6 FL RWD Long Range Pro: RM178,888
- XPeng G6 FL AWD Performance: RM189,888
- XPeng G6 FL AWD Black Edition: RM193,888
Once you consider related fees such as registration, handling, and inspection, the on-the-road price without insurance for these XPeng G6 GL would be:
- XPeng G6 FL RWD Long Range Pro: RM179,708
- XPeng G6 FL AWD Performance: RM190,708
- XPeng G6 FL AWD Black Edition: RM194,708
As a comparison, the pre-FL G6 has a launch price of RM165,820 for the 580 Standard Range (SR) variant, while the 755 RWD Long Range (LR) was priced at RM185,820.
The 2026 XPeng G6 FL can be obtained in Arctic White, Graphite Grey, Midnight Black, Silver Frost, and Stellar Purple. There are also two interior options, including Dark Grey and Light Grey.
As for the G6 FL AWD Black Edition, it also features a blacked-out front logo and rear emblems. It also features gloss black wheels and black brake callipers.
In terms of warranty, the XPeng G6 FL is covered by a 5-year / 120,000km manufacturer’s warranty, while there is also a separate 8-year / 160,000km warranty for the car’s high-voltage battery and electric motor. Owners will also be provided with 5 years of free service or 100,000km, whichever comes first.
2026 XPeng G6 FL Malaysia Quick Specs: What’s new?
In terms of size, the XPeng G6 FL is only 8mm longer than its predecessor, while its width, height, wheelbase, and boot space remain the same. The new model is slightly heavier since it has a curb weight of 2,115kg to 2,220kg versus 2,025 kg for the pre-FL model.
XPeng has implemented some changes to the exterior design of the G6 through the FL model. Specifically, the G6 FL has a full-length Starlight Wing LED light bar on its front, while there is also a ducktail rear spoiler alongside a redesigned rear diffuser.
Unlike its predecessor, the G6 FL is not being offered with a White interior. As mentioned earlier, the car’s interior comes with Dark Grey and Light Grey. While at the same time, the G6 FL has also gained a larger 15.6-inch infotainment display.
As you can see from the price list above, the XPeng G6 FL is available in Malaysia in three variants, but there are actually two main drive setups: rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). Previously, the G6 was released in Malaysia only with RWD.
The G6 FL RWD has also been equipped with a slightly more powerful motor that delivers 218kW (292hp) alongside 440Nm of torque. On the G6 FL AWD, XPeng has added another 140kW motor with 220Nm of torque on the front, which means this variant has a total output of 358kW (hp) and 660Nm torque.
In terms of performance numbers, the G6 FL RWD can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds, while the century sprint timing for the G6 FL AWD is 4.13 seconds. Both variants have a top speed of 202km/h.
Interestingly enough, both G6 FL RWD and AWD are powered by the same 80.8kWh LFP battery. Previously, the pre-FL G6 580 SR features a 66.0kWh LFP battery, while the G6 755 RWD LR was equipped with an 87.5kWh NMC battery.
The specs sheet for the new G6 FL RWD claimed that its WLTP-rated range is 525km, which is significantly more than the pre-FL 580 SR (435km) but still shorter than the 755 LR (570km). On the other hand, the G6 FL AWD’s range is listed as 510km.
While the G6 FL still has an 11kW 3-phase onboard AC charging module but its DC charging speed has improved tremendously. Built with 800V architecture, the G65 FL can support a DC charging speed of up to 451kW.
This allows the EV to be charged from 10% to 80% as quickly as 12 minutes, although we have to say that there is no DC charger in Malaysia that can hit that speed at the moment. For AC charging, it takes around 9 hours.
