SteelSeries officially launched the Arctis Nova Elite, it’s latest high-end Hi-Res Wireless gaming headset. Emphasis on the high-end.

With an eye-watering asking price of US$599.99 (~RM2,524), the Arctis Nova Elite is capable of streaming 24-bit, 96KHz audio wirelessly, while also supporting LC3+ codec. This, by the way, is all controlled via the bundled GameHub DAC control module.

That control module, by the way, also acts as a physical connecting point for up to three devices, all connected via USB-C. So, if you have a desktop PC, a laptop, and a PlayStation 5 console, you’re set.

Internally, the earcups of the Arctis Nova Elite are each fitted with 40mm carbon fibre drivers that itself is part of a two-piece design that pairs them with Brass Surround drivers. Its frequency response ranges from 10Hz to 40KHz, with an impedance of 38 Ohms.

Battery life on the Arctis Nova Elite is rated for up to 30 hours per charge, but what makes the headset enticing is that it uses a hot-swappable battery delivery system, meaning that you get a total of 60 hours on listening and gaming time.

Connectivity-wise, the Arctis Nova Elite supports 2.4GHz via the provided dongle, Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio. You even get two options for the microphone: an onboard microphone for when you’re on the move and connected to your smartphone, or the detachable boom , which facilitates your gaming needs.
