KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22 — A single mother has filed a police report, alleging she suspects her 15-year-old daughter is offering sexual services through the Telegram messaging app.
According to a source, the 43-year-old mother, who works as a cleaner, made the report at the Pasir Puteh police station in Kelantan.
BuletinTV3 reported that the source said the woman claimed one of her children — her eldest daughter — informed her about the matter while she was at her home in Jerteh, Terengganu, on September 15.
“According to the woman, her eldest daughter told her that her other daughter, aged 15, had been offering sexual services.
“She said the girl, the sixth of seven siblings, was offering the service for free for the first client via Telegram, and would start charging from the second time onward.
“The mother believes her daughter, a secondary school student, has already been involved in sexual relations with several men.
“She made the report to enable the police to take further action,” the source said.
It is understood that the girl and her siblings live with their father in Kampung Gong Tinggi, Pasir Puteh, after their parents divorced 10 years ago.
Kelantan police chief, Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat, confirmed the case, stating that police are still investigating the matter.
