PETALING JAYA:
A man’s head was severed after the car he was in crashed into the back of a lorry parked by the roadside in Kulai, Johor, last night.
A Johor fire and rescue department spokesman said they were alerted to the incident in Taman Permata Impian at 10.36pm, and added that it involved a Honda City and a five-tonne lorry, Berita Harian reported.
“Some passersby helped to remove the driver, a male adult, from the vehicle before fire and rescue department personnel arrived at the scene.
“The front passenger, however, was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene. His head was decapitated,” the spokesman was quoted as saying.
