KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) — The Malaysia Career and Training Fair (MCTF) 2025 opened today at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, drawing about 30,000 jobseekers and featuring 100 top employers offering 15,000 career opportunities.
The three-day fair comes amid a resilient labour market, with 16.85 million people employed and unemployment steady at three per cent, though demand is shifting towards digital skills, sustainability expertise and regionally distributed roles.
MCTF 2025 is co-organised by Jobstreet by SEEK and AIC Exhibitions.
“For the first time, MCTF will expand beyond Kuala Lumpur, with editions in Johor Bahru and Penang later this year to connect employers with talent in regional centres,” Jobstreet by SEEK said in a statement.
Jobstreet by SEEK noted that jobseekers at the fair can benefit from free resume reviews, career coaching, employer question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations of Jobstreet’s reskilling tools, and on-the-spot interviews.
The company, which counts 6.9 million registered candidates and 13.1 million monthly visits, said it will continue rolling out regional fairs and employer partnerships into 2026.
