MDX Summit 2025 Showcasing Latest Breakthroughs In Emerging Technologies, Innovation

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 (Bernama) — The Malaysia Digital Xceleration (MDX) Summit 2025 serves as a platform to showcase the latest breakthroughs in emerging technologies, digital transformation and innovation.

Officiated by Minister of Digital Gobind Singh Deo, the event, carrying the theme “Catalysing Malaysia’s Trillion-Dollar Digital Future”, is being held in its third year, from Sept 17 to Sept 19, 2025, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The organiser, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), said MDX Summit 2025 has brought together global leaders, industry pioneers and policymakers to advance Malaysia’s goal of achieving a 30 per cent digital economy contribution to gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030.

“The summit features conferences, immersive exhibitions, high-impact networking sessions and policy roundtables, creating opportunities for cross-border collaborations and strategic investments.

“Over 5,000 participants are expected to attend MDX Summit 2025, including entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, trade associations, and digital professionals,” it said in a statement.

MDEC said this year’s MDX is anchored on five Next-Gen focus areas, such as Next-Gen data, Next-Gen computing, Next-Gen trust, Next-Gen creativity and Next-Gen talent.

“Additionally, as a flagship initiative under the Ministry of Digital, MDX Summit 2025 cements Malaysia’s status as ASEAN’s premier digital hub. 

“The summit serves as a world-class platform for collaboration, digital adoption, and high-value investments, strengthening the nation’s thriving digital ecosystem and reinforcing its role as a regional leader in digital transformation,” it added.
