Even though realme has just recently launched its new “AI Party Phone”, the realme 15 series, leaks reveal that the company is already working on a new phone. The phone in question is the previously undisclosed realme 15x.
What makes this leak so different from the rest is that some people already have the alleged device in their possession. Social platforms have since been flooded with various images and videos of the rumoured phone, showcasing nearly everything from battery capacity to a new UI.

GSMArena has compiled most of the leaked information about the phone. According to the publication’s assembled information, the realme 15x will allegedly be sporting a 6.81-inch display with a model number of RMX5250. The device will also reportedly have an “IP69 Pro” water and dust resistance rating, but GSMArena suggests that the “pro” is more of a marketing term, if anything. The publication has also managed to unearth a “durability” test, where a man can be seen “drilling into” (see: rubbing the drill bit on the surface of) the device.
Diving into the internals, the realme 15x will reportedly be running on a Dimensity 6300 chipset, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the battery, it features a 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. There is no word about the device’s OS but it has been rumoured that it will have a new UI reminiscent of Apple‘s Liquid Glass.
As for the camera, the realme 15x appears to have a rear triple-camera module that is offset to the side of the device, with a hole-punch selfie camera at the front. According to an alleged teaser trailer, the handset features a 50MP front and rear AI camera. Unfortunately, it is unknown which of the rear modules is the 50MP sensor or if all of them are.
Despite all of this leaked information, not one of them details when the device will launch, but GSMArena predicts it will be soon. Smartprix, on the other hand, already has an estimated price for the device, predicting it will retail for INR16,990 (~RM811). Though people already have the device in their hands, it is still worth reminding people that these are still leaks. Any, if not all, information “revealed” should be taken with a grain of salt.
